After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Car GPS for Today's World - 2012
Looking for opinions on a portable / plug in GPS for my daughter that is clueless on street directions
I understand that there are a few brands out there - such as Navman, Tom Tom & Garmin
But what brand does it better and without breakdowns
Looking for these features
User
Speech entry of instructions
Easy to use
Directions
Street names
Best lane to use
Speed advice
School Zone
Red Light & Speed camera advice
Possibly blue Tooth
Or something I have not thought of that could be of use to a driver
I have also seen some tablet style ones from China on the Bay e - but they tend to be more of a media device
So what brands do it best in an instructional way
