With the new Quick Mill 0996 Achilles machine on it's way I'm putting my Ponte Vecchio Lusso 2 Group up for sale to make some space and help pay for a bit of the new machine.

The Lusso has a 3lt boiler, Hot water tap, adequate steam performance.  It comes as per the photos, with a few modifications that I did to personalise it over the last 18 months of ownership.  It has timber handles & knobs by AngerManagement, and I've also added a anti-vac modification as pictured which removes the need to relieve false pressure in the boiler.  I initially had problems with the left group, but this group has been replaced by Sorrentina Coffee under warranty and is now functioning well.  The machine was purchased from Jack at Sorrentina Coffee and it currently retails for $1449.95 http://sorrentinacoffee.myshopify.com/products/ponte-vecchio-lusso-2-dual-group-lever-espresso-machine-classic-design

Pickup in Peregian Springs, Queensland or transport can be arranged at buyers expense.  If your picking up I will be happy to give a run though with the machine and show you how I use the machine.  I do still have the original box.

It's a very capable machine for its size.  Has excellent temperature stability, and can be left on all day.  It has a low water sensor so cuts power to protect the element.  On a recent social that we had I would say we pulled around 20 coffees & milk on one boiler fill.  Excellent.  The machine has been used, and there are some scuffs and scratches on the drip tray which might buff out, and a few minor blemishes on the lid from cups being put on there.

Having used Lacehim's machine to pull a few shots on that social I can comment that it's one hell of a machine for the money. It was ridiculously easy to pull good shots on it and got the hang of the operation very easily. If I didn't already have a machine I loved then I'd be ponying up for this in a heartbeat.

I already have two 2 group commercial machines a gaggia classic and various items of more traditional coffee making equipment. Otherwise I too would be tempted. It is nice that you are offering it for sale here first. :thumb:
