That's a good price C-Man.  I've seen it at Merlos for $180/kg. Let us know what you think... I quite like it but there are so many nicer options for the price.  I actually prefer the BeanGreen Kona for one.

OK, it is a big fat soft bean similar to the Cuban without the tobacco notes. not surprising as they are both in the Caribbean So now I know what to do with it. I first did a normal 9 bar shot, the shot tasted good without any what I call  front tongue bite, smooth with a nice mouth feel. I did a second shot with a long slow pre-infusion and just let the shot flow at only 4 bar for 45 seconds or so. this time I got flowers and big soft mouth feel, it seems to be more about mouth feel than taste. The Mrs. with her sophisticated European pallet says it is just what you look for as a short black or Mackie I started with a few spoonfuls of milk and tasted again, good that way too,  and ended up with a bit more milk and that was good too.  so it is good in all ways Give me a big soft bean any day! I don't think it is overrated at all, just over priced $$$$
