After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Al Banco

edited January 1970 in Have your say
I am not sure of how things operate in the eastern states, but i was wondering if espresso is drunk Al Banco as in Italy.

Also have heard of places here in Perth begining to charge a slight surcharge to sit at a table. If this the norm over east?

If this is a trend, would you belive that this would result in an increase of espresso consumption?? and hence educate people in the ways of espresso?

Any thoughts on this??

Domenic

  • Ciao Domenico, where I hail from the answer is no...atleast not unless an enterprising cafe owner decides to fit out his cafe to suit. We're still in the throes of wanting to be seen sitting "al fresco" either on the lawns, or on the exhaust ridden footpath outside the cafe while encumbering the free passage of little old ladies and young mothers with prams!
