After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Fully Automatic Machines

What is the best fully automatic machine with small footprint and twin heaters

  • why do you need twin boilers if its fully automatic?
  • Good point  ;) Plenty of machines out there... what features are you specifically looking for?  Ground or pod, built-in grinder, self-cleaning, one-touch espresso/milk-based, etc? Some fully automatic machines nowadays can deliver some good coffee but if you're passionate and serious about your coffee, you'd want to have control of the variables and get a semi-auto or manual instead of a fully/super auto. If you're in Sydney, there's a coffee expo run by one of major lifestyle retailers this week (17-20 April) where you can see/try some home machines and higher end fully-automatics.  There will be some baristas working those machines in workshops as well.  Won't mention name for fear of blatant advertising but let's just say Gerry's wife is sponsoring it  ::)
