After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

The Bezzera is home.

Heather arrived home last Friday PM and so did my much valued Bezzera Domus Galatea.

The Bezzera has had a new anti vac valve fitted along with an overall health check and is now running like a Swiss watch.

My observation in another thread that the Bezzera made a far superior Lungo to the LaPavoni has been confirmed, approx 90 ml of syrup in a cup with a lovely thick layer of crema floating on top, bliss. :coffee2:

Not knocking the Pav, it has quickly shown it is more than capable of producing excellent shots and milk coffee's, horses for courses.

Sadly not enough room in the Kitchen to have both permanently set up, so, looks like the LaPavoni will find it's way into the motor home and become our traveling companion. :thumb:

  • I was wondering if you had her back yet. We are heading off to Complete Cafe ourselves within the next week.
  • My Pav is downstairs and doesn't get much use sadly.  It had a lot more use when the kids were a bit younger and it was stationed on the deck because noise in der kitchen was verboten!  Some mornings that little machine was the only reason for me getting out of bed!

The La Pav sure is quiet. I can't say the same for the grinder though  :coffee2:.
