After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

  • Everyone will have their own opinion here, but there are alot of issues to look at: 1) where is the service tech located and what is their commitment to you. If you are purchasing through your coffee supplier you can be sure they will look after you. Things don't go wrong often, but when they do you want to be looked after then and there. 2) what sort of coffee are you using? all machines have quirks and it is best to match something that will suit the type of coffee you use. eg. temp, preinfusions, etc. 3) what is the nature of the cafe? If it has periods where you do 200 coffees an hour or it never gets above 30 coffees an hour, you need a machine that is suited to your workplace. I'd reccomend chatting with the roaster about it, or somebody knowledgable about machines and your product. As mentioned before, take all the above mentioned into account.
  • Thanks NZ, What sort of brand of coffee machines would he be looking at for that money?
  • Hi Lee & me what state are you in. if your in WA i would try Zeroz p/l I personally prefer la pavoni. LE
  • Way too many brands to list. Most brands have a machine in that price range. Get in touch with a local roaster to help you to make that decision based on my previous post.
