After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Hi, we are setting up a cafe and trying to decide how to provide sugar to customers. I like the idea of sugarcubes but are they practical? Also considering sugar shakers, or just bowls of sugar. Probably put these on a couple of service tables rather than on tables - what are your thoughts? Will also have a large communal table so can put sugar etc in the middle of it. While I am at it, what about jams and other spreads. Considering putting large jars on the service tables, maybe with spoons and small bowls so customers can serve themselves. Once again, is this considered unhygienic or impractical - does it work? I guess my thinking is to get away from lots of packaging and throwing away unused packages still full.
