After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Getting a coffee van to our Christmas Party
Hi,
Padon me if this is not the right place but I am struggling to find someone to bring some coffee to our group's Christmas Party. Thus I thought I would try here.
We are BikeNorth (www.bikenorth.org.au), a group with a membership of over 600 bike riders who have regular social rides every weekend in the northern areas of Sydney. Anyhow the event in question is the Bike North annual Christmas Party. This will be taking place at Blackman Park, Lane Cove West on Sunday 6th December, 2009. We don't know how many will be turning up yet but to go on the AGM event that had about 120. So given that and that we have 3 rides ending at the event and normally have an average of 15 to a ride we would be getting more than 45 at the event. And everyone knows that cyclists love coffee so we are a captive market. And a cyclist can't carry much so many will be in need of a muffin or so as well.
Anyhow the event starts at 11:00am on that day. So if anyone reads this and would like to bring your mobile coffee van along then please reply or email me.
Also if you can't do that day but still want to chat about possibilities then I will be happy to chat with you. Sometimes we work out ride and a good 'coffee stop' place but are limited by where the actual coffee shops are. A mobile option could be good.
