After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

wanted: barista (the rocks, sydney)
Hi,
I am the head barista for a specialty cafe/retail store in the Rocks.
We currently need a weekend barista- you would either do a Friday 7-5, or a Friday & Saturday 7-5. The weekday shift is one you're covering for me, and I have built a certain level of expectation for the store and customers that 8kg of coffee can pass through the machine in the first four hours at ultra high quality and blazing speed.
The weekend shift is more of a wildcard, meaning that you can do anywhere betweeno the 4 and 10kg ballpark- although something interesting always happens on the weekend.
It's up to you whether you want to just do the Friday, or would like the two days each week.
The barista here is alone at all times, and isn't just there for the coffee. I need a people person because we thrive on our unique and very comfortable interaction with each other and the customer base. We're in the midst of a lot of growth and it is a very exciting time for the store.
If you think you have a decent amount of skill (I can train you up to any level in no time) and, more importantly, are not a douche, call 9252-1196 and ask for either of the managers - Ben or Richard - or for myself, Billy. We're a really good place to work.
