An in line one is easy and inexpensive to fit Also available are Adjustable Remineralizer System with Jumbo Capacity for commercial applications KK

The need for re-mineraliser cartridges depends on the water going in for a start. I am running bore water going into prefilters and then into a pumped R/O with no post treatment and the Auto fill on the Izzo 3grp works fine. R/O units reduce minerals not eliminate them like a condensate/boiler unit. What it boils down to is water treatment should suit what you start with. Without doing a side by side taste test with both I still doubt it could be picked in espresso (with/without remin), and it is what I use in Syphon or Pourover, never tried a comparison either but it tastes good to me
