After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

  • Hi a standard lease is usualy 5 years, plus you should get a option after that so you can do it again for another 5 years, but you can say do a 3 year lease plus an option of signing for another 3-5 years . you can olso do a turn over rent where you pay 10-20% of the weekly takings as part of your rent,or you can just arrange to pay a agreed rent. good luck and ask as many questions to the agent that you will be dealing with, its a good idea to write these down, so you dont forget them when you meet. See ya OE :P

Check the premises very carefully first with your local council, by that, health, planning and buidling to make sure the premises are suitable. Hidden problems can really hurt and once you have signed a lease, there is no real legal way out. Don't take the real estate agents word - lie through their teeth to get their bit of commission.
