Look at it this way, if someone needs a sugar hit, I actually have to have added sugar in my diet, the coke is going to be more value for money than a coffee as I don't tend to have sugar in my coffee (depending on the bean).

Home brand white sugar does it for me.  Can't beat under $1.50/kg.  Nice texture too.

Don't get me started on the quality of apples available now days, SA is an apple producing state and ya cant buy a decent one for love nor money, seems producers earmark top quality stuff for export. ::)
