Am interested in how others manage this and what they feel is Good / Bad practices ?
While I could rip the info, it would be wrong to. Thus have reference the link that I accessed as a solid base line, prior to servicing my system.

Note: You will need to register to see the full article and pics etc as to servicing.
1: The Minor III I have is slightly different and the main being that the standard Jet has a thread of one size and mine is larger ?
2: Some of the bits may look the same but are 10mm / 11mm /12mm in length and this is important if you want the valves to open at the right time.
I have a gut feel mine has been serviced at some time and is not 100% correct.
If any one has a TRUE Minore III E61 group break down; I would love to see it. The seals etc are the same but slight difference on some other bits. Coffee parts have E61 heard parts for a few different models (No Exopbar

) , but the sizes are not always provided and the part number are different so one has to assume they are NOT the same for all E61 heads ?
3: You will need time and a clean work area and a range of tools and some LARGE spanners ;D
4: I also had a tray for the parts as I also used an ultra sonic bath to assist with cleaning :D
I am still not 100% happy with mine after the rebuild, but the CUP is great ;D

Would be great if parts suppliers could provide an E61 service kit..
A: Basic E-61 GroupHead Kit.
Grouphead Gasket (8.5mm), Shower screen, Gigleur filter screen, O-Ring for Mushroom valve, O-Rings for lever, teflon gaskets, 2 seals for lever and 3 for the seats and a small tube of lube
B: E61 Spring Kit - All the springs
C: E61 Cam Kit - The main cam and all the other 4 that cop physical ware

It could also be easy to mix some bits if you were rushed or distracted.. See Pic.
Also does any one know why Expobar have the rare earth magnets on all their machines. Usually sits on top of the boiler at the outlet to the group ?
