After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
I have an large antique (reproduction) German cabinet that I've had for a while but due to moving overseas will need to sell it. It's probably about 60yrs old.
I have no idea how to properly describe it (style etc)......

Hi KK, thanks but I don't think that's it. The cabinet was imported from Germany (mobel is German for furniture). I tried searching for the manufacturer but couldn't find it..
Your description "large antique (reproduction) German cabinet" is apt. These items of furniture are generally referred to as sideboards. It may also be referred to as a credenza but these usually have the glass doors on either side rather than the middle. Disclaimer: I'm not knowledgeable in antiques
