After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
WTF. With so many volatile oils etc in coffee, microwaving is possibly the worst idea ever for extraction. Not to mention that it's pointless - can't you just (almost) boil a kettle???
I actually considered one of these or work many years ago. I don't think it makes authentic espresso however.... more like a big steaming cup of crud. I will admit to owning many years ago a Mr Espresso Maker by Black and Decker. The instructions clearly stated that one was not to use milk, So naturally I filled that bad boy up with milk and it went bang. Needless to say I'm forbidden from owning $8 microwavable espresso pot because what I see as a delightful experiment my wife sees the death of the microwave. One day I'll tell you ho w I killed our commercial paper shredder.
