After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Rocky lid

edited January 1970 in Off-topic
Who would have thought it but a "Compact Designs Bench-Top Knocking Tube" fits as a Rocky lid!
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
I couldn't find my lid and put the knocking tube on. It fits so well it pushes out grinds into the doser!
Could imagine it scratching though.

  • Necessity is a mother of invention If you are worried about scratches you can use a cork jar lid  095d2392f800c1c65cb13dd88d54.jpg KK
  • For a rocky go buy yourself a click clack container and lid (Kmart, BigW have them).  You can use it to pump out the leftover grinds and if your a lucky bunny you might find a colour to match your rocky.  Then you can keep all your tools in the container. :)

I love the Click Clack lid!  Just be sure to measure because there are a couple of different sizes.  With the Rocky I have modded the lid, front switch (standard Rancilio on/off) and done the tape mod.  Now I can't part with it... Doh!
