Nice bit of marketing for Fiefy, regardless of what you think of kopi luwak. I wonder if 'plumber Lee Hammond' normally drinks short blacks, or if they just gave him one and asked for his reaction. It's unlikely a habitual latte drinker would give a positive reaction to ANY bean as a short black. Not sure why  they felt it necessary to mention his occupation either.

I can only think that it is a purile journalistic associative device to link the profession and the method of harvest.  Nice that they went for comment to a real barista.  Sad to think that they have attempted to culturally stereotype the tradie as ignorant.  Any tradies that I've worked with or employed have proved to be highly skilled, intelligent culturally aware hard-working people.  Sure, there are dumskies out there but they don't tend to drink boutique coffee and hang out with journalists.... or perhaps the really really dumb ones do.... ?  Nice bit of fluff in the paper none the less.  Good find!

Difficult to know what the media deem relevant nowadays, saw a headline the other day (Tatoo artist taken by shark) cant recall the last time I saw a headline saying shop assistant, barista or whatever else, taken by shark.
