After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Dell 500m - would make a great laptop for logging roasts
Hi,
I've for a Dell 500m up for grabs, and thought it might be a good little machine for next to a roasting set up. Its not exactly a speed machine but i've previously used it with the CS data logger and it worked very well.
Specs are
Dell 500m 13" laptop
Intel pentium m 1.7ghz processor
384mb ram
160Gb hard drive (fairly new and hasn't had much use)
2xusb
Modem
Ethernet and WLAN b&g
Serial and parallel ports
VGA out
2xpower supplies
DVD+rw drive
Currently with win XP home installed
Still has the stock battery which is pretty much past it's best but apart from that it's in great working order.
Local pickup on sunshine coast or can post at buyer expense (due to the battery it will have to go via road transport)
$40 ono
Pm me if your interested or it's off to eBay in a few weeks
