Nothing comes out of the group head during the cleaning process, using the silicon disc.  The silicon disc does not have a hole in it, and I've since learnt from Breville that it's not meant to either.

Hi there, I have this very machine and absolutley love it...but like your self when the clean me icon comes up and you do everything it says in the book re: cleaning..i put a bowl under the group head and not 1 drip comes out..just checked and my silicon doesnt have a hole either...as it goes through the motions it spits water out in the bottom of the drip tray instead..is this weird or what? am left wondering is the machine actually getting cleaned properly? as i use mine so much..i would probably be having the clean me cycle come up every 6-8weeks..any advice greatly received..thanks guys.. :coffee2:

Later models do not have the hole through the blind filter
