After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

The latest craze

edited January 1970 in Off-topic
This year, being just 7'ish weeks old has revealed a trend that seems to be growing in momentum.

The Coffee Enema.

Ok, I know it's only Sunday Brunch time and many of you are looking forward to a nice baked dinner or BBQ with friends and family, so I am sorry if this topic abates your appetite.

Yes, in just 7 weeks we have received many phone calls from people looking for organic coffees to be used for THAT purpose. Some of these people are undergoing cancer treatment and the process has been medically recommended.

You see, apparently the organic status is quite important for the process to work effectively.

Not wanting to make light of a heavy subject, but it's sort of ironic in the case of a reverse Kopi Lewak.

  • sounds like a turd of a topic, if you ask me... dR :D
  • Dumb, dangerous, ineffective AND being used as a substitute for known working cancer treatments. All the things I just love  :head:
  • I've even had a few bodybuilders enquire about it as well.

Agree RichardM.  What more can one say.......... On a side note a company I have invested some hard earned coin in as it may be a game changer in treatment of cancer. If you know any female with ovarian cancer, this Melb Biotech firm are in the process of starting phase III trials for FDA approval. I dont care if I loose my money as without medical research, we continue to see what cancer does to our community and our family\friends - heart wrenching stuff.  http://www.primabiomed.com.au/
