After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Coffee Billboards?

edited January 1970 in Have your say
Maybe it is just me! That could be sad.  Since having my workspace in the kitchen and rotating SO every 5 days or so through the grinder, I am always telling the OH what is on the go.  I have thought of a whiteboard of some sort to show what is on offer. I am curious to know if any Cremas run such a whiteboard or chalk board?

  • Ive got 6 different SO's on the go at the moment and some of them are blended. I tell the wife what we are having and she just gives me the "thats nice" look and carries on. I do have a blackboard in the kitchen so it could be a plan - although the blackboard is usually full of reminders to pay bills
  • I recently bought a whiteboard for the coffee I buy. You see I buy so much coffee (well its a lot for me), small amounts but frequently and never 2 times in a row,  i often forget what I like and what I dont. lol.  The intention for the white board is only to do a little description of the coffee and/or/ to give it a crap rating or buy again!
  • I have a slightly different approach.  My wife only likes Decaf o there is always a nice decaf on offer hence the nice coffee machinery.  :thumb:  As to any other blends/SO's etceverything is marked in one way valves with type and Date.  As to what's on offer for guests and others, that is clearly what I give em.  :thumb:  JBM for agents and bank managers, monsooned catastrophic failed roast-buster for the inlaws!  :stir
  • I guess it depends on how much money you want to borrow hey Brett
