Check manuafatures websites for specials & promos

Just wanted to let you all know that if your buying anything, whitegood especially, you should spend 5 mins on the internet checking out the manufactures website to check for additional bargains.  Don't rely on instore staff to know about promotions.

I bought an oven a few years ago, and got a free roasting tray via redemption.  Hardly Normal didn't even advertise it or know about it.  And just recently I purchased a KMix blender at Hardly Normal.  Asked for their best price, and knocked $30 off, and then went home and got another $30 off buy fililng out a form, attaching a copy of my receipt and posting it off.  Sweet.

This is an excellent point.  There were Phillips steam station irons recently that we're $100 off for a specific model.  That same model was on special at a big box making the entire price 'mid-range' for a high-end product. Sadly my steam station has refused to die denying me the new one with 6bar of pressure.  Yes guys, men iron their own clothes but REAL men then use the iron to strip the paint off the side of the house and froth a cappuccino from fifty paces!

SHOP AROUND for sure I spent a couple hrs on the phone today and save $1800 I make more money on the phone than on the tools in building just by shopping and comparing.
