After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Today I received a unique tamper stand
I believe that this is the very first one made by this artisan
I also believe that this person is a Crema member as I recognise the tamper used in the photos
The features are -
1) Hand made
2) Polished resin
3) Green and Roasted coffee beans encapsulated in the resin
4) Bean type is Monsooned Malabar
5) Has small rubber anti skid feet
6) A rubber ring in the insert, to prevent tamper face from scratching
Thanks for the plug KK. You can order through me via PM if you like rather than through Etsy. Customised orders are no drama. If you want a specific bean type or even supply your own beans thats a excellent way to personalise your items. If supplying greens and browns they must be fresh. No older than 7 days post roast is good for the browns. Just about anything can be embedded in the resin as long as the moisture content of the object is very low. Cheers, Alex.
Sorry, forgot to add that the prices on Etsy are a introductory wholesale price. For Australian customers GST must be added. Edit. - Etsy site just modified to include GST. Bit of a minefield that catches most out.

I've met a few of h Etsy types (my wife is Rocknwrap) and you didn't strike me as fitting the profile DX. When next we meet I'll expect you dressed in hand-dyed bamboo tee, cut offs and a smart little Doily hat. Seriously, love ya work mate! :thumb: I've liked you on FB cause I'm thinking enough people whine that they don't know what to get me for my birthday!!
No arty farty gear in the closet Brett. I threw all my tie die gear out along with my bong about 25 years ago  . Just trying to fill a hole in the market that I reckon needs filling. Ive never seen anything of any class for tamper storage. Even more valid when guys are paying $200 + for a tamper but most spending at least $60 - $ 70 , then sitting it on a mat or a piece of rubber. Do your tamper justice and give it a nice home.
