What was the first Car or Motorcycle You Owned

Ohh ! ..first car ??? Learned to drike ( sort of ) in 194? Austin Devon "tray back" truck and 1949 Bedford Duple 36 seater bus !..  "paddock basher "  ..actually a "mud plugger..in the UK first real road car, registered to me was a 1962 Ford "Popular 100E"..with some very non standard V4 running gear.   ..much like this one..

I doubt their would be many to own their first car at the tender age of 12 yep, I was coming back from my paper delivery on collection day when I passed a petrol station with an old beat up convertible, maybe a 40 something or early 50s Desoto  with a sign on it "$50 Runs" I emptied out my pockets with something like 30 odd dollars and the guy took it, I was so small he gave me an old thick phone book to sit on, I could just see but could not reach the peddles! So my little brother laid on the floor and worked them with his hands and we chucked the bike in the back and drove it home.  My mom came out as it made one hell of a noise and asked what it was?  my fist car I said she said well then put  it in the garage as it looks bad, so I did.
