After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

If I recommend something you have tried then it just means that we all have different tastes  :thumb: The easy off the shelf product is Vittoria in a small shaker The other is to mix your own. I prefer 60% cocoa powder and 40% caster sugar Use your favourite unsweetened cocoa powder KK
  • Thanks for that I never thought of mixing my own will give that a go.
  • Jeff Thought your question seemed familiar Dug this previous thread out for you http://www.bestcafes.com.au/forum/how-to-improve-your-coffee/chocolate-sprinkle/
  • The best I have found (to my taste) is Double Dutch from CoffeeSnobs, really is great stuff. :)

Double dutch is great and I utilise the Red Africian in my cooking of sweets - does a great job in mud cakes. As a straight drinking chocolate without the fuss of blending some castor sugar into the double dutch, MyCuppa a sponsor of the forum has a lovely drinking chocolate that I woudl say is absolute BANG for BUCK - no two ways. At $11 a kilo, it is seriously a no brainer and my wife is a hot chocolate freak and she prefers this as her staple. The link and while your at it, grab some of Jeff's roasted coffee  :thumb:  Loved the Lake Tawar http://www.mycuppa.com.au/Premium-1kg-Choc-28.html Jonty
  • Thanks have ordered a 1kg pkt from mycuppa will give it a go  :)
  • The #28 is to my taste the best of mycuppas offerings. I had been using Vittoria sweetened muck prior on Capps however as it was easy to refill the shaker when busy and Capp drinkers are generally only concerned about the foam (also locally available) :stir Couple of Hot Choc threads from a few months ago if you do a search for them too but the #28 for a commercial HC blend is a good brew. Personal taste I like mine pure and the DD or African mentioned earlier have been good too.
