Why does my Iced Coffee not last long...

Sorry about the quality, I was trying to take the video and not let my wife know;  but you will get the idea.

From time of flicking the lever to closing the shot down = an extended time of 32 seconds...

Then I have to use a open neck funnel to pour the shot into the 3/4 full 2L milk container.  Part of the reason is that the crema is too thick and all the oil spotting on top of the crema clogs a normal funnel.  I use about 5 of these shots for about 1.2  of milk...


While the iced coffee is great and I can not get enough; can some one tell me how to fix this gluggy pour ?

Worked for me, nice vid.  Is this on your lever?  If so I had similar issues with my lever and I think it's improved lately.  It was only after I got my nakid that I could really see how bad my tamping/distribution/dose was.  If I get a really good pour I find that the gluggy pour goes away a fair bit. How do you make your iced coffee.  I've been on the irish coffee lately, but an ice coffee would be nice in this heat.  Ohhhh just had a though - iced irish coffee!

I dunno... I use my iPad and Tapatalk HD and I cannot get the vid to run... I do now get a still image on the Link (improvement) but no way to start a vid... I've tried using the Google App and the link, Using Safari to view the forum I/o Tapatalk and I still can't get the vid to run... Am I missing something? :cry

So, thanks for that AM... Alas, the Apple Gods do not bear me well and despite your best efforts I cannot watch the Vid on my iPad. I did however fire up the desktop and sure enough Windoze saved the day- somewhat- No Sound?  Good Enough! I have seen the vid- 38 seconds of sheer Baristatorial Excellence!! I know nothing of your quest and so I can only echo the good C-mans plea? What's the problem?... aside from your near addictive and heart-scaring consumption of said brew. :P This raises another question in my feeble mind.... Show me a God Shot!!! In fact I might just start a thread on this very topic....
