After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
Hi Ewan - my theory on that was that you would therefore get the most out of the fine half of the extraction [first] and then it would rush down through the courser grind second [since it was at the bottom] adding an element of under-extraction... my thinking was that it's better to have the fine at the bottom to keep it extracting that little bit longer in the [courser] top half... Of course at the end of the day, it's whatever works for you, but that was my theory! A
