After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

  • Would it not make sense to reverse the fine and the course? Fine on top, course on the bottom.
  • Hi Ewan - my theory on that was that you would therefore get the most out of the fine half of the extraction [first] and then it would rush down through the courser grind second [since it was at the bottom] adding an element of under-extraction... my thinking was that it's better to have the fine at the bottom to keep it extracting that little bit longer in the [courser] top half... Of course at the end of the day, it's whatever works for you, but that was my theory! A
