Would like to buy a Rancilio Miss Silvia, Help !!!

This model has been my interest for some time now. Living in Perth W.A I have found it hard to find a fair price on the unit. I even had one quote for the silvia at $900 which happy to say researching everything saves me from making that mistake. Is it possible to find this unit around $600 or so. I

i think the rancilio is at around the $750 odd mark. i've never seen it below around $700 so i'd say that $600 would be impossible.

G'day Madhatter, if you haven't done so, check out Alan Frew's website 'coffeeco'. He has the Silvia listed for $748 + postage, which I can't imagine will be $250, so you'll save yourself some money there. Also there is Mocopan in Melbourne and Sydney, which a lot of people rave about and apparently have cheap prices. Hope this helps, Steve.

coffeecentre has it at 721 and 379 for grinder. plus postage. pretty cheap...kepping in mind this is an internet price for goods only and no assistance with matching up the grinder or any help with getting to know the machine.

Thanks for your help guys, will look into it. Still hoping to find someone local in the Perth area. Also believe after sales service and guidance is important. Price still a major factor as we can all understand that.

Madhatter, have you tried Supreme coffe machines? They had the Silvia for $799 + $50 extras thrown in, which brings the equivalent price to $749, which is about as good a price as you'll get for a new one.
