Great work C-Man.  You move fast, you'll have it done by next friday! lol.  Only kidding. I'll have to pop over for an inspection some time.  So what's going on the ground floor?  A garage I assume, but what else.  It's a pretty big block you have and the house is going to be massive when you've finished! I know where the next social is going to be on the Sunshine coast!

ground floor, garage, lounge, laundry and a couple bedrooms the extension will add 250M2 when you count up and down and decks we have existing just 100m2

So do brickies still work on a $1 cut, $1 to lay and above 6 foot she's $1.50.. I suspect those bricks incur a surcharge due to weight... So assume $2.50 a brick to lay!  Never seen a poor brickie and would never want to mess with one!

the lower section is piers with bearers and joists, because of the lower height 3.7M block was the only real option for strength and 3 car garage also block allows big open plan upstairs with lots of glass and still strong I buy blocks for $209 ea and pay $2.70 for laying, cutting is extra $20 per M The block team gave me a good kick start,  3 weeks to this stage. soon it will just be me and another chippy slogging it out.
