After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

I would have if I had it in my pay TV plan KK
  • Yep the Tour De Somniac has been a tradition at our house too for many years And it was good to see a Sicilian win at the Giro
  • Has everyone enjoyed the first few days of the TDF Last night the Australian team Orica Green Edge got the best time of the team trial This excellent result was on the back of a stage win on the previous day With that the yellow jersey is worn by Simon Garrans KK
  • Oh tes, TV and PVR are locked on !! SBS at 10pm,..7:30 am,..& 6:0 pm. What an opening few stages !..with OGE making news in all of them..( especially the tour bus in stage 1  :D ) Note: OGE are also leading the Team points event also now. And what was with that review panel show last night. ?? a plesant surprise
  • Well, that was some tour ! More strategy than a political campaign More crashes than  Microsoft windows 2000 If you didnt see it,... you missed a visual treat
  • Double Alpe d'Huez was possibly the best stage ever!!! Gerrans stage win and green edge in yellow was simply awesome.  And Richie Porte is my new hero. It was great... I hope next year wiggo is back and there are some longer time trials to keep the end result a bit more up in the air. I really hope Quintana doesn't come in positive
  • This year I missed the last 1.5 weeks of the TDF due to work commitments But I heard it was a fantastic battle in the double mountain stage KK
  • Yes, the last week was grueling ( whats new there ?) ,.. and saw a interesting new strategy with top riders changing from lightweight "climber" bikes to faster "decender" bikes at the top of some long climbs which were followed by long decents.! Even  some  "flat" sections that would normally be a steady ride for the main group, turned into 100km sprints when strong cross winds allowed a "breakaway" of 50+ riders to split the Peloton into 3 big groups all racing at max speed to the finish !..Very unusual ! :o
