After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
And if you ask nicely he might even let you have it for only 42,999... If he finds a buyer at that price, I also have a nice shiny Urania that would look great next to it!
whilst $43+K is more than loose change,....its only the cost of an average mid size sedan, Ford, Holden etc, so not really a unusual amount. BUT, you can bet that the Gaggia will be worth the same or possibly more in 5 years time, whilst the Falcon, would be down to about $15k by then ! The way interest rates are at the moment, this could be a smart buy ! ..not to mention one hell of a smart piece of coffee "bling" !
Really... It's worth that much?? I think it's beautiful and no doubt a collectors' item but something is only worth what someone is liking o pay or it. I've watched the Faema E61 originals on EBay start at 10k and then go lower and lower.i don't know that these machines are worth what people imagine them to be!
