Just doing some work for a HT user.

If you know your HT these pics should make some sense, if not then you need to get to know your HT.

1: Don't just remove the chaff tray.  Every couple of roasts, remove and tilt the roaster from the back.  This will assist in removing a build up of chaff that gets trapped at the rear.

tilting my hottop doesnt get the chaff out from behind the chaff tray. I remove the roast drum every so often and vacuum it out. it is worth taking the rear off every 6-12 months and give it a good clean out with compressed air, or at least a vacuum. Chaff does build up in various nooks and crannies and is a potential fire risk.
