After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

SOLD - Faema Mercurio Vintage Lever
Up for sale is my Faema Mercurio Vintage lever. Was originally imported from Europe and restored by me over the ditch in NZ, now we're both living here in Sydney. Need to sell to make room and get set up here. It was restored 2 years ago and has seen light occasional home use since then as I've had other vintage levers to play with. Plumb in and out only, although I just usually use a small container underneath for the drip tray.
Comes with original Faema portafilter (re-chromed) and a standard black new E61 p/f which also fits. New piston seals and a fine-tune this week to get it ready for sale.
Like most machines you'll find of this vintage, there were missing or non-original parts. Drip tray and plexi were bought from European collectors and are very good replicas. It does have the valve on top of the saturated group, which many of these are missing.
I have the cardboard pack n send box I bought it over here in for transport. Freight within Aussie will be approx. $100 , happy to help out local buyers in the future ig they are Sydney based
