After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

The Rebutable Rocky but where is Mr Click-Clack

edited January 1970 in Grinders
I have a click clack lid for my rocky but I have a friend who is buying a new Mr Rocky and can't seem to source a round click clack container.  Does anyone have any leads??  Without the click-clack the rocky is grind retention monster!

  • KMart and BigW had them years ago, but I think they are pretty scare these days. Try contacting click clack direct.  Maybe they can point you in the right direction. http://www.clickclack.com/ You might have to take a measurement of the rocky too so that you can compare it to their current range.  I this the 0.6lt was the one I ended up using but it's been a while since I've had the use for one. :)

Not so sure about that Brett, I owned and used a Rocky for 10 years, didn't find it retained more than any other grinder. My method was, start with empty hopper, weigh beans, grind, brush out chute and run the machine again briefly to clear the grind chamber of loose grounds, worked for me.
  • I have the doserless version DB (sold the doser) which proves more difficult to brush the chute than the doserless.  Not impossible but not as accessible.
