After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

~S~ G'day ALL.
Gotta first say what a great site this is.
Well, I bought a Espresso Kambrook from a garrage sale and have been guessing how to use it. Its only a small white one, single tank with steam arm on the left. I noticed a few members have had this type once.
Can anyone help me with how to properly use the dam thing?
Do I leave the front knob turned to the little cup symbol? or wait for the noise of the boiler to change, ?. next how do I steam the milk? sometimes its watery sometimes i run outa steam. and is there a best milk jug  to use ?
getting the strength of the coffee hasnt been a prob, just getting things right.
ANY help witll be MUCH appreciated.
regards

  • Hey Sharkzz - welcome to the forum; sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you may not get a lot of help with this one. We're not really snobs about machines, but there are some machines where you're just not going to be able to get great espresso, and the Espresso Kambrook is probably one of them. I may be wrong, but i just can't think of many forum members who would have this unit, so they're probably not in a position to give you a whole lotta help with it. -dR
  • ~S~ G'day Bouble R. Thanks for the reply. I kinda figured such , going by the look of the unit. And after some trials, I had better coffees outa my plunger and perculator. Me thinks I will save some bikkies and get a decent one. The forum here has some good leads in thatr direction. thanks again for the heads up on this. regards Sharkzz
