Gave the Bezzera a birthday.

After almost 6 years of service decided it was time! so, replaced the 3 valve assemblies, brew valve, infusion valve and exhaust valve and all of the seals in the E61 group head today.

The surprising thing was it seemed to improve the quality of shots the machine is producing, I'm sure its psychological, bit like when you have the car serviced, seems to run better.

Regardless, the job is done, with a bit of luck am now good for another 5 years or so.

Job well done DB. Now I know who to call for a service. [emoji6] It probably did improve the shots now that the brew group has been overhauled, or placebo. Whichever as long as you're happy with the cup. [emoji3]

G'Day Brett, the three valves were certainly well worn and due for replacement,  the group head seal was pretty hard and well due. My preference is for Black Forest cake. :P
