Our little girl Allegra was born this morning. 3.45kg and 51cm tall. Both mum and her are doing well. Mum is recovering from her c-section.

Time for a real coffee to wet the baby.

Thanks everyone. I've just experienced my first night of broken sleep. Need a coffee now (hospital Instant coffee anyone?). Little Allegra has an appetite like its no ones business. Hi sue. Yep we chose the name before hand and we gave her a middle name after her mum Lily.

The first of many broken nights, I still get them almost 3 years later  :laugh:. It's part of the fun picking names, it is hard though. We had boy and girl names picked out both times but ended changing Matts after he was born and Ben was always going to be Ben if he was a boy.

Just got home to freshen up and of course a latte with a double ristretto base. Instant coffee and hospital cafe coffee can kiss my behind!!! Photo of the latte attached (or what's left of it)

Thanks guys. We arrived home today. Baby is fed and sleeping. It's time to sort out the house with all the stuff we brought home, shower and relax for a bit. Here is a pic of little Allegra.

Aaww, she is beautiful, lots of hair. I had a bald one and a blonde one lol. I'm glad you posted a piccie, I was going to ask but I know some people don't like to. Keep that coffee machine fired up, you might be needing it tonight  :P.
