After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

One of my pet hates, political or social correctness gone mad, check out this article on news.com.au makes numerous references to wait staff

Whats wrong with the term waiter? its gender neutral and rolls off the tongue unlike the clumsy wait staff or wait person.
Ha, in the few minutes it took me to type this the author of the article removed every reference to wait staff etc, someone must have been given a pineapple. :stir
