After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Why Bother????
I was shown an espresso 'Training' style video yesterday. You wonder why some people bother.
In the video, it went on about the importance of 'tamping' and using the correct size tamper. A plastic tamper was shown and it was indicated that this had toooo small a diameter.
Low and behold the metal tamper being used was quite a few ml smaller than the basket. Coffee grinds were popping up the side of the tamper during the tamp.
As I said "WHY BOTHER".
There were actually two videos. Video 1 quoted extraction volume as 20-30 ml. Video two mentioned 30-40 ml.
As I said "Why ..............."
