Expobar Minore II steam power

I have the new Expobar for just over a month now, couple of days ago had to make coffees for a group of friends so machine was on for two hours non stop during that time steam power dropped gradually to the point that making stretched milk difficult, I checked the water level and it had water in the tank, so is there a problem with my machine? or dry steam in the boiler need times to be replaced after each use.  Thanks.

This is a great machine which should pretty much give you steam on demand - I would take it up with the place of purchase, sounds like there's something not quite right there Pat

Hi summercrema, askthecoffeeguy is right.  You shouldn't have this problem esp since the Minore II is a double boiler machine.  I've made multiple coffees when friends are over and pretty much leave my machine on most of the weekend and not had any problems.   What does you steam pressure gauge say?  Generally, steam pressure at 1-1.5 means you're good to steam.  The red light on machine will turn on when you're steaming, then turn off again when ready to go (returns to pressure).

Hi 30in30, I will check it, if the steam wand is blocked can I use a paper clip to clean it? Thanks

you should be able to screw the tip off of the steam wand to allow for easier access for cleaning & yes a paper clip or similar will do the job     You will soon be able to tell if the tip is blocked or not & soaking it in boiling water (once removed) will help to clean it properly ~ although if your steam wand is completely blocked you should prob be looking at purging before & after every use by blasting a let of steam through it with each usage ~ hope this helps, pat
