em6910 group collar

My em6919 has a cracked group collar.  Any advice on whether this is an easy item to replace or should I leave it to the experts.

not sure if you need a specialist tool to remove the group collar or not - but a large wrench might do it you might want to flip through the pages of other crema em6910 owners and see if any have addresses this problem: http://cremamagazine.sitesuite.ws/forums/YaBB.cgi?num=1116555453/30 from what I can tell many advocate doing the sunbeam coffee machine maintenance course, which sounds like a good idea sunbeam after-sales service is also supposed to be very good, so try giving them a call and see if they can help is your machine still under warrantee? as any work you do on it yourself may invalidate the warrantee cheers, pat

sunbeam donot run a maintenance course, only a coffee making course the group collar is not a do it yourself replacement part can be replaced by any sunbeam specialist coffee repairer graham
