After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

don't tell the mrs...

But I bought myself a 'new' Rancillio S24 for father's day - I still have to put the machine through it's paces but it looks the goods and has plenty of omph (with a 3.9lt boiler) to boot

Got it from the usual bay of evil so you have to take these things on trust a bit - but if it stacks up (as has been asserted by the previous owner and it certainly looks in very good nick) - then I will be looking for a new home for my Bezzera Domus Galatea, which is in excellent condition, and has been extremely well maintained and used with only filter water, and is less than 12 months old

PM me if you're interested

Cheers,

Pat

  • Hey Pat The Rancillio S24 is a nice machine but I would not part with the Bezzera Domus unless it was a G3  ;) I wonder if a machine exists with same or better specs than a LM G3 but does not cost aprox 7K KK
  • For similar (not same) specs you could go the Dual Boiler Vibiemme.  Or pick up (if you're really lucky) a single group Linea for around 4k and PID it.
  • What I really need is a project machine something like the Bezzera 2 Group Eagle However I really would like a small footprint single group commercial semi auto with dual boiler that is as reliable as a Toyota to pimp up something that can be painted any colour of the spectrum KK
