After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.
The Behmoor is 1/4 the price of a Hottop but they aren't as user friendly. A hottop is dead simple. The downside is the price. I can view the beans as they roast. 250g is what I do in the hottop. I have never used the Behmoor but from memory 250 grams is what my brother does in one. Price is an important consideration and the Behmoor does the job.
Spot on IG. Having had the old Behmor and now the new one, I use to do 500g well in the old Behmor when it was new. As it aged I dropped it to 400g and interestingly the new one recommends 400g also.
