After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Coffee Kids - Tsunami relief

edited January 1970 in Have your say
Hi guys - don't know much about these guys, but sounds like a worthy cause, especially on this remembrance day for tsunami victims...Coffee Kids, a US based charity is organising aid to the coffee growing region above Aceh, in Indonesia's Sumatra.

From their press release: 'In response to the recent earthquake and tsunami in Southern Asia, Coffee Kids has formed a partnership with ForesTrade to provide much-needed disaster relief services to families in Sumatra's coffee-growing region of ACEH.  The fairtrade co-operative which we have established, PPKGO is currently delivering food, clothing and other essentials to the many thousands of people affected in the region.  Information is limited at this time.  However, Coffee Kids will post information about the disaster relief effort on our website, www.coffeekids.org, as it becomes available."
