After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.

Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

Coffee in Wellington NZ

edited January 1970 in Have your say
Hello all,

We are going to Wellington NZ in a few weeks (but we'll be back) and were wondering if anyone can recommend a good coffee place over there.

We'll do our best to sample the local facilities but any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

  • You cant go too far wrong with coffee in Wellington, and I have to say that the overall coffee standard there is far superior to that of either Sydney or Melbourne. I recommend the Lido, for a cool, Brunswick Street like experience.  However, for my money at least, you cant go past Midnight Espresso, and Fidels, on Cuba Street, in the city - the original innovators in the cafe scene in New Zealand (think The Wall, on Carlisle Street - East St Kilda, but 10 years older!) That's what  I'm talking about! ACG
  • Thank you ;D Will report when I get back. M
