After the old forum software breaking in a way that we were unable to fix, we've migrated the site to a new platform.
Some elements aren't working as we'd hoped - some avatars didn't survive the transition, and we're still having issues with attachments that weren't added as inline images, but we're hoping to have that all sorted out soon.

filter cafe/bar (recommndation from forum member)
A few months ago i was reading this forum and someone scripted a post recommending filter cafe bar in brunswick st fitzroy( they had been to a 21st birthday party)
unsure of where to host my 21st birthday, i thought id check this place out for myself. Anyway to cut a long story short i had the event there on friday. I cannot speak highly enough of the Staff, the food and the venue in general. Darren and the other members of staff were most attentive to the needs of guests.The Food and drink were also very well priced. The filter team took care of all the setting up, and even went to the extra measure of using candles etc to create a bit of extra atmosphere. Darren was extremely easy to deal with when organising the event, and unlike a number of front of house in brunswick he was not flippant or off hand. Just to make the post in some way coffee related, in addition to about a thousand beers, i enjoyed 3 doppio ristrettos! Even in my drunken state, i observed the precision in which they were prepared and they certainly appealed to the palate!
Thanks to who ever recommended this place to me.
