Hi Cherry Actually yes... Had triple shot latte, actually very nice. But Paris has so many cafe the choice is so wide. The fresh baked pastries were great, as I got to Gare Du Nord at 9am, only the early bakeries were open. Bought pastries with my wife and made our way along the Parisien streets. Love it...

Hi every one HNY to all back home. I ams sorry PFL has been slow latlety, but its been flat out over here, so much to write about, you will not leave your seats when I post very soon. Hi AM Yes the Aztec's and I believe the Mayans were having a quality time with Cocoa ;D ;D I have not tried the chilli chocolate while in Sicily, but will look into it next time I am there, I have seen chilli chocolate here in the UK but I don't think it will be the same. The Gelato and Granita are very good there though :D ====== Life in London has been very busy over the last few months, but I will keep my post cards being delivered to Crema Magazine. Just Broke the Guinness World Record for the most Espresso made in 1 hour 12000+ with the UK team at the London Coffee week event. I was in a team of 6 loading a 2 group La Marzocco, with an Anfim grinder that got red hot after 40 min of good old punishment ;D Great weather, Great event, Great Cause, Great new Record http://www.londoncoffeefestival.com/ OE ;D

Hi all I know- I know, The record was held by Poland with 3000+ coffee in 1 hour then....then a group of Aussie Barista from Brisbane pumped out 5000+ but this was not official. All the coffee shots on the day were monitored by the SCAE http://scae.com/ , there were representatives doing the rounds checking shots for quality, these guys had timers with them, that's how strict it was Good old OE got the thumbs up from the Marshall , I was quite shocked as I was pumping free pours for the whole hour. But honestly the shots were very good, so much so, I wanted to have one, specially when a 3 kilo bag of All press made its way to my team, but I did not dare.... There were six of us, I was doing shots, Sam Dunford a Barista (from Extractcoffee a company in Bath, had travelled for a few hours to take part) I had just met 10 minutes prior was loading with great technique, others were placing coffee on the table, others counting keeping track of coffee's etc. You might ask, why not pump coffee on your own?? well it was a team event, I would have loved to do it on my own! We ended the hour with 300+ mind you the Grinder was red hot after only half hour+ of heavy work, the 2 group La Marzocco held OK, but the set up was very poor. There is a very good shot of myself, viewing the set up for the first time..oh dear it tells you a lot, it was like walking into a dark room with your eyes closed...LOL. The Event was great, I was thinking??? If Australia get their act together and go for the record at the Aroma festival, Australia will hold the new record. Something to think about Admin? Hi all Quick post to let you all know what's happening here in the UK Cafe Culture this Wednesday and Thursday 18th - 19th http://www.caffeculture.com/ Bath coffee festival this weekend 21th - 22nd http://www.bathcoffeefestival.co.uk/home/ New post Portugal Lisbon http://espressomundo.blogspot.com/ Coffee scene going strong here in the UK, speciality coffee is making its mark and setting the standards, don't feel home sick much these days, as the large selection of Aussie style cafe keeps the soul happy. The only problem I find is the young gun Barista take to long to make your drink, there is so much a person will wait, call me inpatient, but sorry guys and Ladies, it does not take that long. This is something I will discuss later on. OE
