I love it... Where is AM! I didn't realise you left on your own terms. I have to agree with the whole Breville rubbish. There seems to be a real attitude by some members or maybe it's the way I'm reading the posts. Certainly not friendly and caring of late. The whole place seems pretty quiet lately anyway, not that crema will be complaining

Now if only I had a few spare $$$ I could buy that 2 GRoup lever la dorio off eBay and start a crema rebuild thread. Anyone want to donate to my cause????

I'm sure you'll be happy here mate, and if things change Andy did say your welcome back! It's nice to see a few friendly names on Crema that I haven't see around for a while. Re PC just didn't have time, it was getting dark and the traffic was a nightmare. If you find another home for it, cool, if not I'll rumage next time!

There are a lot of levers popping up. I just wish I could buy one but they are mostly down south or that Z11 is three groups. I could probably talk the wife around to a 2group, but she would freak at 3! lol. They are sooo expensive and I do wonder if parts are available or if I could handle one. A bit Off Topic I know but I had to explain my coffee madness during while I was selling my San Marino the other day. I think I scared the fella's wife when I told her I only got into coffee last year really. I'm standing there with 2 coffeemachines, a commercial grinder and my KKTO outside! lol I think she's going to be keeping an eye on her hubby closely.

At first I went quiet due to my illness over on CS and AM was privy to it Now I am keeping quiet because its a preference I to have been blasted for no apparent reason Sometimes I was blasted by association to AM I read a few posts and only answer to specific roaster and milk questions as that's where my interest currently is & my helpful nature with all things roasters CS is very quiet at present KK

How interesting that when the thread on CS was locked, posts were deleted. One (or the only one??) made mention that AM had gone to another forum. Coincidence?

Hi everyone... that was my thread on CS, it was indeed shut down, and VERY quickly too, and this is my first post here. I have been chatting with one of the Moderators on CS... Mal... and he seems rather mystified and somewhat stunned by the whole matter. He does pass his regards along to you AM aka BlIss and you are sorely missed. Having said that... As far as I know, he 'ex membered' himself, went to another forum under the name of Bliss, came back and still here with the new name of AM, changed his name in that other forum to Anger Management, and lived happily ever after.

Huh, no less than I would expect from the junior member of the tag team. What's the point of this sort of curmudgeonly behaviour, serves no useful purpose other than to highlight the fact that the author has a nasty vindictive streak. ::)

I would have thought that PM's are private between members but accsess by mods or owners could always be suject to scrutiny ::) Out of interest there is a message between AM and I regrding an old TV series from the ABC about two flowerpots that I can see fine ;D

I'm sorry if the following sounds like a rant, but here goes. Personally, I'm getting sick of hearing people on this site complaining about people and policies on other sites. I don't think that there's anything to be gained either individually, or for this site, by constantly having a go at other sites (whether that criticism is justified or not). This is a coffee forum, to talk about coffee and coffee related things. It is not a review site for other web sites. If you've had a bad experience on another site, I'm sorry to hear that, but lets not keep opening old wounds by dredging up bad memories. Lets leave the past just there, in the past. We're not going to move forward as a site if all we ever do is bag other sites. I also think that if other sites put up threads and posts criticising this site, people here would be peed off, and rightly so. I'm overjoyed to see you here where we can share our passion and knowledge of coffee, without judgement or unjustified criticism. "A strong tree will not grow from a poisoned seed". I don't know if that is a fair dinkum quote, but it sounds philosophical and seems topical. To answer the question in the original post, Angermanagement is here, and we're glad to have him here. I don't think there's anything to be gained by continuing down the path that this thread is going down. I think it should be locked down. End of rant. All the best, Steve

Morning Steve, Not a rant, all valid points. I hear, and tend to agree with what you say, however those that feel they have been treated badly elsewhere are able to express opinions here that would be met with a red pen in other places. Not sure about locking the thread, the posts we have seen have all been pretty civil, I imagine most are the result of long periods of frustration at having material censored or deleted without any logical reason or explanation. :-\

Hey All, I join the group who say let's move on and look to positive things. I'm also here because of the same frustrations and came to those conclusions on my own before the chorus of voices became loud and clear. While I agree, there should be a place for people to air their frustrations without censorship, let's not let it set the tone for the whole forum. Those who I already know here have become friends over the past few years and it's been based on a deep interest of coffee. Let's pursue that once more. So; what interesting single origins have people been drinking recently? I've got some killer Tanzanian Blackburn Estate at the moment....
